The OAK System enables coaches and players to monitor players’ brain activity. It searches for abnormalities caused by injuries such as concussions. Insights are provided through our app.
The app visualizes the data and provides insights into the players’ mental state, focus level and tackling behavior.
Following a critical blow to a player’s head, the Oakskull will take a measurement of the player’s brain activity, analyze it and clear or warn the user.
Over time, the system becomes better at analyzing the player’s brain activity and looks for signs of long-term damage.
Our platform stores and visualizes all data and provides key insights into players injury history, performance and tackling behavior.
This way, we provide guiding information for players to improve their tackling behavior and for coaches to gain a deeper understanding of their players’ health and performance profiles.
The Oak System consists of a skull cap that monitors a player’s brain activity and a small controller which sends the data to the user’s handheld device and can either be worn on the body or inside the helmet.
